Appearance

Visually, the Okami U100 Laser is a classic robot vacuum cleaner in a tablet case with a diameter of 330 mm and a height of 100 mm. Distinctive design features of this model are a glossy front panel with a speckled pattern, above which a washer of a laser rangefinder (lidar) rises. So that the lidar does not interfere with the passability of the device, in the event of a threat of a collision with an obstacle, it lowers into the case. On the front of the robot is a soft touch bumper with tactile and IR sensors. A 600 ml dust collector or a combined wet cleaning container with a 360 ml tank and a small dust collection compartment is inserted into the back of the case. Of the working accessories, Okami has two end brushes, a petal-bristled turbo brush, the U100 + model is also equipped with a UV lamp that disinfects the floor during the cleaning process.

Functionality

The robot vacuum cleaner operates in one of two basic modes:

1. Three-stage dry cleaning: side brushes sweep away dirt to the working block, a turbo brush brushes hair from carpets and scrapes dirt that adheres to the floor, and a brushless motor with a force of 2500 Pa sucks the garbage into the dust collector.
2. Combined wet cleaning, in which a smart robot wipes the floor with a wet cloth and at the same time collects the remains of dry garbage. The main features of Okami wet cleaning are the electronic control of wetting microfiber from the built-in tank and the transition to a special mode of Y-shaped driveways that mimic the movement of the mop.

Reference! To filter the air in the dust collector of the vacuum cleaner, a fine-mesh mesh and a HEPA filter are provided. Okami performs dry cleaning in automatic or local mode (spiral cleaning of the selected area). Using the mobile application, the device can be controlled manually, as well as program delayed start, configure cleaning parameters and work with an interactive room map. For navigation and cartography, the robotic assistant uses a laser rangefinder, gyroscope, edge and tactile sensors, as well as height difference sensors.
